A native of northern California, where her parents were public-school teachers, Andria Williams attended UC-Berkeley (B.A. English) and the University of Minnesota (M.F.A. – Creative Writing).
She and her husband, an active-duty naval officer, have three children ages 14, 12, and 8. They have been stationed most recently in Virginia, Illinois, California, and Colorado.
Andria is an editor for Wrath-Bearing Tree literary journal. She also runs the Military Spouse Book Review blog, which promotes the writing of women veterans and military spouses and publishes book reviews and essays. THE LONGEST NIGHT is her first novel.

also, my daughter just finished school in Pocatello Idaho, which is close to the reactor-have seen the signs for it in Idaho Falls-

I loved your novel! I am in two book clubs and read approx 4-5 books a month. Congrats on your first novel…I think it’s a page turner and I can easily see it being made into a movie. I just finished reading your novel, The Longest Night for an upcoming book club meeting. Our club has been reading and discussing historical fiction together for over 6 years. We have read some great books, however you are the first author that has compelled me into correspondence!
I so loved this book. The character development was amazing. I could identify with each of them. They were all lovable and flawed at the same time. Their internal struggles were naturally uncomfortable and at the same time you gave them such a validation. Your description of the setting was very crisp and clear that I felt as if I lived in Idaho Falls with them.
From the first page to the last, I was completely absorbed. Thank you for having the courage and motivation that it must take to write such a thorough book. I look forward to reading more of your books in the future.

On one hand, I kept reading to absorb the photographic qualities of your scenes and characters. Each page turn was like a photo album.
